Castleside is a village set in County Durham, amongst the beautiful countryside, and is around 15 miles to the west of Durham, the popular historic city.

"had a lovely holiday. nice comfortable warm cottage. has everything you need, home from home. Owners are always available and so nice. The shop and cafe next door are a bonus- pop in anytime. Mobil phone signal is poor, but there is a land line available in the cottage.. just pop in your coins. Looking to go back again asap, Shops and pubs close by. A visit to Lanchester and dinner at the '' Kings Head '' is a '' must do ''"

"We were very pleased with the bungalow, it was comfortable and clean. It is in a good location in the area we wanted to visit and the supermarket and shops were a short drive away."
