"it was ideally situated for everywhere,durham,a1,washington galleries.beamish. the apartment was so clean and had all you could ask for. the beds were so comfy. never had to worry about the car,i.e. parking or safety, with the security of electronic gates. mum is 81yrs old,and im disabled,so the ground floor flat and ramp was excellent. we also took my little yorkie, and he loved it too! if you didnt feel like cooking, the red lion pub,at the bottom of the bank, did excellent food."

"The flat was lovely and warm, beds comfortable and clean, and bathrooms were fabulous. The shower was so powerful. The gas cooker was great to use and the owner was lovely and helpful. You have Durham just along the road and Newcastle in the other direction and a fabulous pub (Red Lion) down the bottom of the road which has lovely pleasant staff and fabulous food. "

"This property was perfect for our needs. A member of our party has mobility problems so the facilities were perfect for her. There was a bench and small garden in the gated car park area which was nice to sit at. I would rent this property again."
