Penryn is a town and civil parish in Cornwall, England. It is one of the most ancient towns and boasts a wealth of history. A large proportion of its buildings date from Tudor, Jacobean and Georgian times; therefore the town has been designated as an important conservation area. The local museum is housed in the Town Hall. The Town Hall building is partly 18th century and partly 19th century in date; its clock tower is dated 1839.
