Reviews of Colhay Studio

"Beautiful home set in the heart of the Cornish countryside, we were welcomed by Gill the owner who was very friendly and helpful. It was a nice surprise to find tea, coffee, fresh milk and Cornish cream and scones waiting for us, she had even provided treats and a lovely comfy bed for our 2 dogs. The studio was spotlessly clean, light and airy, and very comfortable, the garden is lovely with a huge pond and relaxing waterfall, and most important of all it was safe and secure for the dogs. I would thoroughly recommend Colhay studio to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday."

"What a wonderful place. We fell in love with the studio as soon as we saw it. A warm welcome when we arrived. The host's were very friendly and helpful & great tips on where to visit. The garden is so relaxing,we loved sitting out watching the wildlife all around. Particularly the amazing bird feeder with so many different types from sparrows to woodpeckers (even a cheeky squirrel). The fish pond is beautiful, especially in the evening when lit up. It is so dog friendly Herbie loved it! We have been home a day and he is still sulcking!. For a relaxing holiday you couldn't wish for a better place, we had two wonderful weeks there and didn't want to come home. We couldn't recommend Colhay studio more highly and look forward to returning."

"The garden of the cottage was amazing. It is very large. It felt it was split into 4 sections, a patio with table and chairs, a large lawn, a wooded area with pond and a rockery with waterfall into another pond. The property has perfect views over the moor. It is very relaxing and has modern furnishing."

"The cottage was stunning! The owners were very friendly and welcoming; they gave us the tour of the studio and then left us to it. You never felt like you were being watched but knew they were just across if there was a problem. The garden was beautiful and made better when the sun came out. The balcony is a great place to sit and have breakfast whilst watching the birds feed on the feeder. The kitchen and lounge were big and airy. The bedroom was situated in the perfect place to lay and look out over the hills. Overall we had an amazing honeymoon!"

"The whole holiday was fantastic! Couldn't fault Colhay Studio in any way!! The owners who live next to the studio gave us total privacy the whole time and were only a text away if you needed help or advice. The log burning stove was fantastic at this time of year and the shower cubicle was awesome. The decor is second to none we absolutely loved it! Was well worth the 500 mile drive from Glasgow!!!!"
