Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, shared use of washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power, starter pack for stove and bed linen inc. in rent. Sorry, no towels provided at this property, you will need to bring your own. Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike storage. Table tennis at property. Shared patio area with one other property with garden furniture and BBQ . Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 2 miles.
Location
Poldark Cottage is a semi detached cottage converted from a traditional granite barn in the grounds of Bodilly Manor near to Helston in Cornwall. The cottage is designed in an upside down style and has one double bedroom and one twin room as well as a family bathroom, making it suitable for four people. Also in the cottage is a first floor open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is shared use of the gardens and off road parking for two cars. With all of the delights of Cornwall to discover, Poldark Cottage is a lovely family cottage in a stunning area.
Helston lies on the Lizard Peninsula and is a market town famous for its Flora Day. Nearby is the town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west.
Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

"Very comfortable and clean barn conversion in a rural location. Perfect for making trips tot the coast, villages and well known English gardens (Heligan - Eden Project). Sarah, the owner, was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately we didn't use the very inviting garden, due to the weather. When we stayed at Poldark Cottage there were building activities in the other side of the courtyard, but this gave no inconvenience."

"We wanted a complete 'away from it all' type of accommodation and Poldark fulfilled this. It was perfect for ourselves and our dog. The owners were the perfect hosts, there if we needed them but unobtrusive. Thank you to your staff who were so helpful when we were booking with just 24 hours notice. "

"A lovely cottage tucked away from it all with lots of character and space. The beds were so comfortable that we all got the best sleep we have had in ages. The shower was really powerful and there was lots of hot water. Wifi was slow at times and we could not get any mobile signal so perfect for a holiday away from it all! Location was great ... we could reach most of South Cornwall quickly and easily! If you have a dog, it is worth doing some research as to which beaches are dog friendly during the summer months ... we found some lovely beaches but it did take some looking!!! Would happily return to this cottage and would recommend! "
