Location

Saffron Cottage is in a super position close to the estuary and a few minutes walk from two pubs and a great restaurant in the tiny village of Lelant. A modern and contemporary house with two bedrooms, one double and one twin that sleeps up to four people. The property is tastefully presented with a sitting room boasting French doors to a patio garden and a kitchen breakfast room. Outside the enclosed patio garden is equipped with garden seating and a BBQ and there is off road parking for one car. Saffron Cottage is ideally placed for couples or families seeking a relaxing holiday or a base for sightseeing with amenities, beaches and walks all on the doorstep.

The village of Lelant sits on the mouth of the Hayle estuary, with a large sandy beach to one side and a narrow strip of sandy coves accompanying the estuary water inland. Ideally placed for sightseeing, where you can jump on the branch line to St Ives for a day trip or drive across to the magical St Michael's Mount in Marazion. With beaches on both coasts easily accessible you will never be stuck for trips to the beach. The closest is Porthkidney Sands which can be reached on foot along the estuary which winds its way through sand dunes to where the River Hayle joins the Atlantic Ocean. Lelant has two pubs, a deli and restaurant and a golf course with outstanding views.
