All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x super-king size double (zip and link to twin on request) with Smart TV, 1 x king size double with Smart TV. Bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, walk in shower, basin, WC. Open plan living room with kitchen, dining and sitting area.
Mawnan Smith on the northern banks of the Helford estuary is a great base to explore all of west and central Cornwall. It is a small village with a popular 17th Century 'thatched' pub (the Red Lion), restaurant and shops, also a working forge and craft centre. Developed as a distribution centre for goods and produce for the Lizard Peninsula. With the village acting as a staging post for materials that were to be ferried across the Helford River - to the Lizard Peninsula. The "Old Smithy" has recently been restored by the Anvil Trust, to recreate a working smithy in the village. Mawnan Smith is close to Maenporth Beach and the Helford Estuary ideally situated in a quiet Corner of Cornwall, with Falmouth town centre, Harbour and Attractions nearby.
Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
