Reviews of Snugglers' Cottage

"This is a great property, evidently recently, and lovingly renovated, with a good mix of modern conveniences, and original cottage features. We loved the wood burner, the sleek contemporary kitchen, and equally glam shower room. The property was immaculately clean, the kitchen very well equiped, bedding was great, beds very comfy. The decked garden area was ideal for us, and our mini dachshund loved exploring it. It is quite a Sun trap, and despite being late October we made use of the lovely patio furniture for a couple of lunchtime meals. There are plenty of board games, dvds etc, if wanting a quiet evening in. The property is on the main road, but Delabole is not busy, and the traffic was not noticeable. It was easy to find parking spaces opposite the property. Delabole itself has some good amenities, with a spar, a very popular chip shop (expect to queue, people come for miles to use it), and a lovely, dog friendly pub with welcoming locals. Delabole gives easy access to the coast, and some stunning beaches. We recommend visiting the local slate quarry, great for walks, with some good views."

"We have just finished a 2 week stay in this cottage. The cottage had everything we needed (and more) and was furnished in a modern style, with many quality and locally sourced items clearly evident. The property was immaculately clean. The property is dog friendly however there was not a dog hair in sight. The outside patio area whilst smaller than we thought was lovely, a proper sun trap with lovely seating and we spent some lovely evenings here enjoying the evening sun. We would certainly use again if visiting Cornwall and would have no hesitation in recommending to friends or family."
