"The location of this lovely little cottage is stunning and easily accessible! The quaint cottage garden is secluded and welcoming. The cottage itself offers everything you need and oozes charm and comfort. I had the best nights sleep whilst staying here not only is the bed comfortable the hamlet is so peaceful and quiet too. Even our dog snored whilst sleeping!! Kathy (the owner) has really created a relaxing space to enjoy all year round. Everything you need is only minutes away too - dog walks, beaches, farm shops, fish & chips, pubs and more.... We will definitely return to Pennywort Cottage!"

"We are so pleased that at last, 'Pennywort Cottage' has come on to 'Trip Advisor' and we have the opportunity to recommend this beautiful little Cottage in Camelford to the 'Trip Advisor' Viewers. My Wife and I spent a week in the summer of 2018 here, and indeed returned for a long weekend break just before Christmas - with of course contrasting weather from our beautiful summer last year to a dull, dreary winter. Nonetheless, whatever time you decide to go to 'Pennywort', it's always a good time! We spent many a wonderful day last summer enjoying the beautiful, quiet and peaceful garden and 'living outside' - but were just as comfortable and warm on our weekend away, with the lovely log burner and central heating providing a very comfortable warmth throughout the Cottage! 'Pennywort' is rather unique - a mixture of 'ancient and modern' - a beautiful new bathroom, yet a low ceilinged lounge, thick walls, warm and very cosy! The Kitchen is extremely well provided for and is most certainly light and airy and an enjoyable area to dine! The staircase takes us up to the one and only, very comfortable bedroom which has an 'en suite' loo and wash basin. Stay at 'Pennywort' and you have Cornwall at your 'fingertips' - Bude and Boscastle to the North, Tintagel to the West, and Padstow, Newquay, Perranporth and St. Agnes, to the southwest, - ALL within half an hour to an hour's drive away -and if you need a Doctor, 'Doc Martin' at 'Portwenn' is only nine miles away! The Photographs of our most enjoyable stay last summer, speak for themselves - and we most certainly hope to have the opportunity for a further stay or two during the forthcoming year!"
