The market town of Callington is overlooked by Kit Hill, where you can view across south-east Cornwall as far as Plymouth Sound. Callington is set in the heart of the Tamar Valley and offers a good selection of shops, inns and cafes, as well as being the home of Ginsters Cornish pasties. Other interesting places worth a visit are the National Trust's Cotehele, Morwhellam Quay, the pannier market town of Tavistock, as well as walks on Dartmoor.
