"We needed a well deserved break & wanted to show our children all the lovely places in Cornwall & Devon that we had been too. This place was a great base for us to do that plus it was pet friendly so our Dog got to join us too. The ladies who run the pub & the cottages are always on hand if you need anything & very friendly. The cottages are beautiful. There are 3, number 2 being the biggest. The decor is lovely. With a modern light feel to it. We all loved staying there. It had everything we needed including lots of towels.. There isn't any private outdoor space but lots of communal space. The sheltered outdoor space for the pub is right opposite the cottages then you have a beer garden at the back which leads onto a field to run the dog & children. Sadly we didn't get time to eat at The London Inn but we have been advised the food is lovely. The locals are lovely too very friendly. The local pizza place was Fab we had a take away - delicious & the local shops hAd everything you might need. Very nice little village. Recommend a visit to Duckpool too some great hill surfing.....
