Port Isaac is a small and picturesque fishing village on the Atlantic coast, until the mid nineteenth century, it was a very busy port, handling goods such as stone, coal and timber. Stunning views of the harbour can be enjoyed whilst walking along the cliff top, whilst the harbour itself provides the perfect spot to relax and while away the hours. The delightful harbourside pubs offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. In the summer months fishing trips can be taken from the harbour. The popular ITV series, Doc Martin, is filmed in Port Isaac, and the village was also the location for Poldark.
