Reviews of Bronwen's Den
"My partner and I booked for a few days before Christmas to do some winter beach walks with the dogs and take in a few tourist hotspots while it was quiet. As we wanted more space in the car we asked Paul (the owner) if he could open up early so our shopping could be delivered. On arrival, we found that they had put all of it away as we were held up on the M5! As well as not being able to help enough, Paul and Judith have amazing local knowledge and will share their tips on where to go, and within 7 miles there are lots of places to visit without a long drive. The cabin is absolutely spotless, close to a brilliant local pub and small shop that sells everything You'd forget to take. If you're staying in, take board games and dvds or download lots of movies as the rural internet speed can be a bit hit and miss. A perfect place to stay if you want to be left alone, or just ask the owners who live on site if you need anything. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be staying again!"

"The owners made us feel extremely welcome and even took our online shopping in which was so helpful and kind! The accommodation was perfect and had everything we needed to be comfortable and our little ones really loved being there too. And St Teath is a gorgeous village in a great and central location in Cornwall, where everyone is so friendly, the local pub being somewhere well worth visiting. Thoroughly enjoyed and more than happy to recommend to anyone."

"Having read the reviews for Bronwyn's Den, I was initially concerned after booking it , but when I arrived it was I soon realised it was an ideal location and base for my son and I to visit the delights of Cornwall. The owners were warm and welcoming and very helpful in suggesting locations that would be suitable for my son and I to visit especially as my son has a hidden disability and can get very anxious in crowds etc. The facilities were ideal for us and the issue of proximity of the different lodges really didn't bother us at all, in fact I would go as far as to say its no different from any other lodge park we have visited. If you want an ideal base to explore Cornwall ,I would definitely recommend this lodge."

"The photos show this "lodge" as being secluded. Its a double wide mobile home in the middle of a very crowded mobile home park with the worse parking situation (one small space and no on street parking). Owners are friendly, however, they live across the street from your "lodge" and watch you from a floor to ceiling glass window and door. They know your every move unless you draw all the curtains. Site offered "WiFi" however its piggybacking off the owners WiFi connection and being its very far away, you get one bar connection and you have to be sitting in the front window facing the owners home. The smoke detector will go off every time you cook because its IN the kitchen. We wanted a secluded place to take time off from work for a week and be able to Netflix and watch movie via Amazon Prime. Without WiFi, forget it. If you want to visit Cornwall in March, be warned tourist places are closed."

"Overall we were happy with the lodge. It was comfortable enough and as there was only two of us we had enough space. What disappointed me on arrival is that the picture isn't as it really is. It gives the idea that it is quite secluded. In truth you are surrounded by other lodges from all directions giving the feeling of being in a goldfish bowl. If you don't mind that great! As it was the surroundings that initially attracted us to this property my heart sank."

"A comfortable, warm and cosy lodge. The property was easily accessible including the 3 shallow steps on to the decking. The owners were always on hand for any little query that arose and would always go the extra mile to help out. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Bronwen's Den makes a lovely holiday retreat and we will certainly book again."
