Welcome to Brambles. This barn conversion cottage is near to the village of Lostwithiel in Cornwall and sleeps two people in one bedroom.
Brambles is a barn conversion cottage located in a rural position just three miles from Lostwithiel in Cornwall. With one double bedroom and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep two people. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with an electric fire. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for one car, a private rear patio area with a table and chairs and shared use of lawns and a BBQ area. With its neighbouring cottage, Brambles can sleep up to eight people and is a wonderful location for exploring the beautiful Cornwall countryside and coast.
Once the 'county town' of Cornwall, Bodmin is a town ideal as a base for enjoying both the coast and countryside. The town itself has shops, pubs, a museum and the eerie Bodmin Jail. Outside of town you have the clifftops, coves and good surfing of the north coast, plus the sands and estuaries of the south coast, both within 15 miles. Visit the Eden Project, walk or cycle the Camel Trail, or enjoy fresh seafood in one of Padstow's many restaurants.
Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to thebeautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

"We loved the cottage being situated on the Lanhydrock estate, it provided peace and quiet with beautiful walks and views. Easy access to shops but well away from hustle and bustle. Perfect! I was very pleased with Sykes up in Cumbria and equally satisfied in Cornwall."

"My accomidation; on arrival the small complex was very pretty with masses of daffodils and a small stream near by. The cottage was well equipped, with a very welcome comfortable bed, and nice linen. Lovely, quiet location, with plenty to do and see in the area. I would rent this property again"

"This place definately isn't pet friendly or child friendly. There was rat poison on the floor inside the property. Unfortunately my dog ate some and we had to make an emergency trip to the nearby vets. Hopefully my dog will be ok, we won't know for definate for another week, but what if a toddler had managed to get hold of it. Horrible owner, he laughed at me, told me I was lying and hung up on me when I complained. No mobile signal in the property, no telephone for emergencies. Very tiny."

"We enjoyed staying at this cottage as it was in a quiet location down a farm track away from the main road. It had all the facilities we required for our stay but the only criticism I have is that it advertised the cottage as having Internet Wi-Fi access but in fact it did not which I know to many people would not be a problem but I did take my laptop but of course could not use it. Easy access to Llanhydrock Estate and ideally located to get to the many beaches and places to visit (Polperro). 10 mins from Lostwithiel where there are good pubs to eat (The Globe Inn is excellent). Would certainly recommend it as a place to consider as the rental cost is far less than cottages on the coast or nearer to the beaches."

"The quiet and central location suited the type of holiday that we enjoy as much of the places we like to visit. We would also like to add a sincere comment about the owner who went the extra mile for us on the day we arrived. That was at 19:30 at a garage recommended by him having been towed for about 150 miles by the AA. He collected us and took us to the cottage. On the Saturday he drove me to Wadebridge, about 15 miles, to collect a very satisfactory hire care at a reasonable price that he had researched online. He rescued the Holiday. With our heartfelt thanks please let him know that when I am able to help someone else his kindness will be passed on. "

"Cottage was pleasant and cosy and scones and cream were welcome on arrival. Good location - could walk into NT Lanhydrock by the back gate! Slight problem as there were thousands of pheasants around and the dog couldn't be let off lead! Access to north and south coast of Cornwall easy."
