Hosting a number of shops, bars, pubs and restauranst, the town has become popular with visitors, as well as being ideally placed between the Macclesfield, Alderley Edge and Stockport. Cyclists and walkers can discover the Middlewood Way, a 16km traffic free route that runs through picturesque countryside, whilst canal enthusiasts will delight in exploring the Macclesfield Canal which runs through the heart of Poynton.
