Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Off road parking for one car in secure, gated communal courtyard, and free car park opposite. Bike storage. Designated patio area in shared, riverside open plan garden. Sorry no dogs, no smoking. Shops and pubs 5 mins walk. Note: One of the bedrooms has sloping ceilings with reduced height to edge of room.

The historic, former salt mining town of Northwich lies in the heart of the Cheshire plain, on the junction of the River Dane and River Weaver, 18 miles from Chester. The town is host to a thrice weekly street market and monthly artisan and farmers' market, along with the Salt Museum, Victorian black and white buildings, cafe's, wine bars, restaurants and boutique stores. There's a number of country parks in the area, including Marbury Park, Verdin Park and Anderton Nature Park which is home to the famous Anderton Boat Lift, and the city of Chester is within driving distance.

"We stayed for a weekend at this lovely property early in November. Northwich is a great base for us to visit family while we are in the UK and this house is in a fantastic location. Just a short walk to shops, restaurants and the cinema. It was absolutely perfect for us. The house is beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, equipped with everything that you need (including WiFi) and is really cosy and welcoming. We would recommend this house for long or short stays. While we were based there for family visits, this location would be ideal for visitors wanting to explore the local area as its central location means it's ideal as a base to visit North Wales, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester etc. There are also 2 airports about 30 mins drive away (Liverpool or Manchester)."

"Northwich is a great base for a holiday and the property is very well located, being just a few minutes walk from the Town Centre shops and a supermarket. The town-house is relatively modern, very clean, spacious and furnished to feel like a house, not a holiday rental. The owner is very helpful and replied quickly to our queries with helpful suggestions of places to visit etc. The sunny morning views over the canal make a great start to the day."

"A very well appointed, comfortable and spacious house overlooking the Marina. It is minutes from Waitrose and the town centre. There is easy access to Chester and surrounding villages and towns. The house is spotlessly clean, well equipped and furnished to a high spec. Plenty of space inside and a pleasant seating area outside. Highly recommended."

"Marina Approach is a fine town house overlooking the marina in Northwich where the River Dane joins the River Weaver. The main bedroom, lounge and kitchen all look towards the river giving wonderful views of the marina area. We were fortunate to have some mornings where we could sit outside on the patio enjoying the sun. It is possible to cycle at least as far south as Winsford. All in all Marina Approach is a lovely house for a short break in an area well off the usual tourist trail. "
