Location

The Studio at Manor House is a Grade II listed, detached sandstone cottage in the hamlet of Eccleston, two miles from Chester. This single-storey cottage sleeps two people in one king-size double bedroom. The cottage also has a shower room, a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and double sofa bed. Outside there is off road parking for one car and a lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue. The Studio at Manor House is an ideal romantic retreat with so much to see and do nearby, starting with Chester with its famous rows and wall, as well as its racecourse, zoo and cathredral.

Chester boasts excellent shopping in and around the famous 'Rows', walks along the Roman Walls, the River Dee, Grosvenor Park, medieval cathedral, racecourse and Zoo.

"The Studio is located close to many attraction in and around Chester and a great locaton to get away for a peaceful retreat in the countryside. The cottage was well provisioned and comfortable, warm place to come home after a cold and wet day out. Shower was good and bed comfortable."

"Detached Cottage Very well presented with everything you need.Out of the back garden then a 2 mile river walk into Chester. Sights to see every day. Lovely village and area. If you don`t like quiet this won`t suit. Chris and Gary who own Stable cottage can`t do enough for you and their local knowledge is invaluable."

"From the friendly arrival until the time we left we felt relaxed and comfortable in this delightful converted studio. Situated adjacent (literally) to the burial place of the Dukes of Westminster, only two miles down a quiet road from the centre of Chester, and a quarter of a mile's walk from the River Dee we had a relaxed week here. Furniture, kitchen fittings, and amenities all of excellent quality, not too far from Sainsburys for food shopping, and with loads of places to visit in the area from Port Sunlight to Chirk Castle."

"The Studio was in a delightful village only 2 miles from the superb and interesting City of Chester. The A55 was nearby enabling quick access to the seaside and mountain resorts of North Wales and the Cities of Liverpool and Manchester. The grounds led down to the River Dee with pleasant walks into the City. The owners were extremely attentive and generous with food essentials on our arrival and garden produce during our stay."
