Chester has quite rightly been described as 'the jewel of the North-West of England'. Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of the city is that within a very small area there is evidence of every period of history - from the old walls and amphitheatre of Roman times, through medieval churches, Elizabethan townhouses and Georgian terraces, to Victorian and 21st century architecture. The city has, excellent shopping in and around the famous Tudor 'Rows' and lovely walks along the Roman Walls, beside the River Dee. "This house was an incredibly quiet and cosy cottage, perfectly located right in the heart of Chester. The allocated parking space was less than a minutes walk away, and a large supermarket, and the main street of Chester, were both less than two minutes walk away also. The cottage itself had everything needed for the stay, including Smart TVs, a fully equipped kitchen, and all rooms furnished to a very high standard. The owner was easily available the entire time should anything else have been required (although this wasn't the case, as the house already had everything we needed!) This was definitely a perfect location for accessing Chester, or the surrounding area (it was only a 15 minute walk to the railway station where there was easy access to Liverpool and Manchester), and we would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Lovely house located right in the centre of Chester, tucked away in a nice quiet side street. Perfect for exploring Chester by foot and attractions such as the zoo were just a 10 minute drive away. Owner was easy to contact and friendly. Would have been five stars if the parking was a bit closer and a few more kitchen utensils. If we visited Chester again, would definitely stay here."

"Right in the city centre, one minute walk from the town centre and tescos. cottage is very cosy and very well designed, is very modern. Bathroom is beautiful with an amazing shower. 15 minute drive from Chester Zoo and Cheshire Oaks so very convenient. Only bad point is the owners car space is a 15 minute walk next to a canal under bridges so not ideal to walk in the dark and also a pain when you just want to pop out quickly or if the weathers not great. Would not book again just because of this. Also there is a washing machine but no powder provided and limited cutlery given so if eating breakfast, lunch and dinner and you do the dishwasher at the end of the day you run out of cutlery."
