Location

Clint Cottage is a single-storey pet-friendly cottage two miles from St Boswells. The cottage has a double room and two twin rooms which can be offered as doubles on request, one of which has an en-suite. There is a family bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking and a front garden with furniture. Clint Cottage makes a great family base for enjoying the lovely Borders countryside.

St Boswells is ideally situated for exploring the Scottish Borders, with ancient abbeys, castles and grand houses open to the public. There are also many walks and cycle ways in the borders. Within a few minutes driving distance are Melrose, Galashiels and Jedburgh. Edinburgh is just a 40 minute drive, making this an ideal location to access the festival and Tattoo, or simply to look around the ancient city.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

"The cottage was very quiet and well equipped. It had roomy bedrooms and living room and it was very warm. Lots of hot water for showers and big fluffy towels. The beds were so comfortable. We loved the views over the hills and valley. It was a lovely place to relax."

"The owner did everything to help. Overall the place was lovely and had an excellent view over the river Tweed. Scott's View, which is a very beautiful view of the surrounding Border landscape is just up the road from Clint Cottage."
