Reviews of The Coach House

"We was given 2 numbers to ring to find out we're we was to collect the key from, after a 4 hour drive we called both numbers and both went into answer phone. We arrived at a very large old house with property all over the place, we wasn't comfortable just wondering around so we sat in the car a piped the horn, still nothing thier was no one around. Although Liz the owner did apologise it still can't change our experience. The cottage itself is really lovely and very peaceful. "

The peace and quiet was idyllic and we came and went as we chose, although the owner was always on hand if we needed her. I would definitely return and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat."

"The Coach House is a ground floor 1 bed flat in an old coach house for a stately home demolished in the 1920s. It's a very attractive, quiet place, in a secluded part of the world. We've stayed there a couple of times for short quiet breaks, and love it. Short distance from the Lammermuir and Cheviot Hills, and also some very nice coastline and beaches. The village also has a very good pub for food. We'll definitely be back!"
