Reviews of Creevy Cottage

"Needs wi-fi, this is 2018! Also a few keys to the back patio door would save a lot of walking around the house - this is mentioned several times in the Visitors Book, does nobody read this? Plenty of bulbs not working, sitting room very dark, impossible to read at night. Otherwise pretty good"

"We opened the door and felt immediately at home: Lovely decorated rooms, really charming, and a great kitchen with everything you need to actually cook. Mini billard / table tennis was a nice alternative to internet access and brought the whole family together. We also loved the short distance to the beach for strolls at all times."

"Lovely cottage in a lovely location and we would return, however there is some room for improvement, few tips to improve at very little cost . Bathrooms, no bath mats, only two towels per person one of which we had to use to stand for fear of slipping on wet tiles, no towel rails to hang towels especially in small bathroom, no shelf to put a tooth mug had to keep tooth brush in toilet bag all week. Bedrooms , in two bedrooms no wardrobes to hang clothes we ended up hanging clothes on curtain rail There was no emergency list doctor, fire, police etc"

"This cottage is in a lovely location off a side road a couple of kms from Mullaghmore. Just a shortish walk to the dunes. The interior of the cottage was very stylish, wetroom shower totally useless because you do end up with a wetroom. The old part of the cottage is gorgeous, with a snug for the children, couldn't find any table tennis bats though. Would have liked the cupboards to be cleaner, more saucepans, and need to have a welcoming pint of milk or bottle of wine- welcome poor. But nevertheless this cottage is in a beautiful setting in a lovely part of Ireland. Go to Davis's Restaurant for amazing food!"

"Creevy Cottage did not disappoint. It was perfect for me and my 4 buddies. We had come to Ireland to see the sights along the Northwest coast and to enjoy some golf. Aside from the terrible open shower arrangement which drenched the main bathroom each time it was used, the cottage was very comfortable. The address was well situated for our interests as it was not far from Sligo town and Donegal town and the many golf courses that are sited in the area. We particularly liked the country lane thje cottage is on. One way was Mullagamore with its harbor and beautiful coastline and the other way was O'Donnell's pub, the latter in easy walking distance and a fine place to enjoy a pint or two."
