Location
The Sextant is a first and second floor apartment in the town of Kilkee just eight miles from Kilrush. The cottage sleeps six people and has one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a twin room and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a sofa bed and a balcony with furniture. Outside is off road parking for one car. Situated on the western coast of County Clare, The Sextant is a lovely family holiday apartment all year round.
Kilkee is a charming seaside town on the western coast of County Clare overlooking the mile-long horseshoe bay, with a gently sloping safe and sandy Blue Flag beach.
County Clare has so much on offer; boat trips, quirky pubs, seaside resorts and a great tradition for Irish music, all set amidst spectacular scenery such as the towering Cliffs of Moher and the fascinating landscape of The Burren.

"The owners Daughter met us at the house to show us around, We did not know what our arrival time would be as we we're traveling from the UK, But she said don't worry, she would wait till we could get there she gave us tea, coffee, bread, and milk, as well as lovely Apple Pie, to welcome us to Kilkee, all we would need for our stay was there i.e. washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cooker, and fridge/freezer. Plus TV, DVD/CD player. It was a short walk to the local shops, pubs ect. all of which we're full of lovely locals. A 10 minute drive to Kilrush, will get you to a Tesco or A Lidl Super Market, plus lots of local shops."
