Reviews of The Pheasant's Nest

"We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Pheasant's Nest for Valentines and we so enjoyed it! The cottage is beautiful, well eqipped and very comfy. A big thank you to Deb for the little touches which really made it for us: the personalised heart left on the bed, the lovely bottle of red wine, the treats and bones left for our little beagle Harry. We really appreciated it all! The cottage is very clean and well looked after. The area is beautiful with many lovely places to walk, great for dogs, and also a number of nice country pubs within a couple of miles' walk. Would highly recommend a stay here, we loved it! Thank you again xx"

"This is an amazing discovered gem, stunning location with the backdrop of the malverns, we're from Birmingham and so to be able to get there in just over an hour is just perfect. Perfectly dog friendly and has a beautiful dog Bobby who will welcome you to his home. Go see for yourself just how magical this enchanting little nest is. Can't rate it highly enough."

"A lovely well equipped little cottage. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfect location for sightseeing, nowhere too far away. Has an enclosed rear garden which was great for Alfie our four legged friend! Would certainly recommend this cottage!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this 'nest'. It was a very comfortable, well designed space with a quality kitchen and bathroom. It is in a lovely village setting. There were great places to walk our Greyhound nearby and the enclosed garden was a real bonus."

"Both the accommodation and the area the cottage is situated in are excellent. So many places to visit, we wished we had stayed for two weeks. It is the most dog friendly area we have ever been to."

"The Pheasants Nest' was just perfect, we couldn't fault it. We received a very friendly welcome from owner and she was very helpful. It was very comfortable and had everything we could want and more. 'The Nest' is ideally placed for exploring The Malverns and the surrounding areas but also cosy enough to stay in and relax. There was plenty of information of places to visit and eat out. "

"Myself and my partner stayed at The Pheasant's Nest in Feb 2016. It was lovely. A great location for walking our dog, Unna, with the hills and countryside on your doorstep. Gullet Quarry was a fifteen minute walk away and absolutely stunning. The property itself is small but cosy and we had absolutely everything we needed. It has been built and decorated to an extremely high standard. We had no problems with anything. Heating was great and the shower was AMAZING. The property has a full kitchen, the WiFi worked well (we managed to watch three seasons of Luther on Netflix!) and the bed was comfortable. The Pheasant's Nest was also extremely clean!!! There is a fully enclosed garden which was great for the dog, and Deb (the owner) even offered to let us use her garden while she was away, so the dog could explore (which Unna loved). Unna is a large dog (Akita) but she had plenty of room both in and outside the property. We always worry about letting her into a garden when we go away as she is a skilled escape artist! But this garden was fully enclosed and no way she could get out. The gates were also high enough for her not to jump over (which she has done in the past!). Please don't be put off by the building work opposite, we heard absolutely no noise at all and were here for a week. Phone signal wasn't great with EE, but fine with Vodafone. The owner, Deb, is lovely and will be happy to help with anything you need. Despite going away on holiday herself, she made sure there was someone around if we needed anything, and even texted me to ask if we were ok. I would definitely recommend this property if you want a nice, relaxing holiday in a beautiful location and really perfect accommodation."
